Matjaž Ivanišin

Matjaž was born in 1981 in Maribor. He studied film and television directing at AGRFT (2000-2006). So far he has completed a short documentary Che Sara (2002), two short fiction films Humidity 81% (2004), Quick view (2006), and middle-lenght tv-drama My little darlings (2005).

He has received several national and international awards for his films:

Che Sara received an award at goEast student film festival in Wiesbaden, the award for best documentary at Belgrade FSF and a special mention at Sniff in Novo mesto.

Qiuck view received Best international screen-play award (8. Belo Horizonte international short film festival), Jury's special award (Aye Aye film festival, Nancy Lorraine), Grand prix (4. international short film festival Balchik), Best fiction film (11. Siena film festival), Special mention (11. Milano film festival and Etiuda and Anima film festival Krakow), Best student film (9. Slovenian film festival).

My little darlings received Fipresci award (9. Slovenian film festival) and Joze Babic award for best student TV drama.
